A Space to Grow:

Compassionate Guidance and Creative Ways to Embrace Change

About me

For many years, I have been supporting people through relationship challenges, personal transitions, and periods of change. My work is rooted in a systemic approach and shaped by openness, clarity, and respect for each person’s individual experience. I aim to create a space where people do not have to feel judged or “too much,” but can explore their thoughts, emotions, and patterns with honesty and curiosity.

I work in a way that is both structured and human. Some situations call for depth and reflection, while others require orientation, new perspectives, or practical next steps. Often, the goal is not self-optimization, but developing a clearer understanding of oneself, one’s relationships, and the life one wants to build.

I work with individuals and couples from a wide range of backgrounds, relationship structures, and life experiences. Diversity, equality, and a non-judgmental attitude toward different ways of living and relating are an important part of my work.

As a trained art therapist, I can also integrate creative methods into the process if desired. Sometimes images, symbols, or creative expression can help access emotions and inner processes that are difficult to put into words.

I believe meaningful change becomes possible when people feel safe enough to look at themselves with honesty, compassion, and sometimes even a sense of humor.

My Professional Journey

Over the years, I have worked as an art therapist in various acute psychiatric clinics and on an acute psychosomatic care unit, gaining deep insights into mental health care. My commitment to social engagement led me to work with OlamAid, supporting refugees in Greece and people affected by flooding in Germany through therapeutic art projects. Today, I bring this rich experience into my work as an independent systemic counselor in my own practice.
